Navigating Challenges and Lessons

2023 threw curveballs like a pro. Picture this: managing elderly parents on different continents, each with unique challenges. It became a dance, supporting them and navigating the intricacies of adult social care departments and the evolving situations they faced. Simultaneously, I grappled with the emotional rollercoaster and negotiated the learning curve of discerning what I could do versus what I would do. ??


In this crucible of challenges, two profound lessons emerged. First, adaptability isn't just a trait; it's the key to overcoming the most intricate hurdles. Second, my 2023 mantra to live the life I am meant to have unveiled an ongoing journey of self-discovery, aligning with what's important to me now and my purpose. These lessons, though personal, seamlessly translate into the realm of business leadership.

2023 Symphony of Highlights

Amidst the challenges, 2023 was a symphony of moments that defined success. Picture me, the keynote speaker, standing before 2000 sales professionals and leaders in Lithuania. The energy and the connections forged were undeniably unforgettable.

A month in Antigua, blending family time with breathtaking views from a luxurious villa for two weeks, and seamlessly transitioning into a nomad workspace with an equally spectacular view of the Caribbean Sea. ??

The crescendo of experiences peaked with a surprise US Birthday party with my siblings, masterminding with my Women Sales Pros tribe in Scottsdale, a trip over the Grand Canyon, and another speaking engagement at GTM Pavilion Nashville. Followed by a dance with the Northern Lights in Tromso and a visit to Oslo, Norway.

The pièce de resistance was hosting a private dinner Birthday party at the Sky Gardens, surrounded by 15 powerhouse women. It's a symphony of pure awe-inspiring joy, and whether it's 2000 or 2, this year sparked deep connections.

Noteworthy Moments and Achievements

But it wasn't just personal triumphs that painted the canvas of 2023. Live training webinars for creating Sales Efficiency became my platform to share insights—from successful hiring to diversity in sales and aligning sales performance to raising the sales leadership game. The engagement and thirst for knowledge were palpable, pushing me to commit to continuing these discussions into 2024.

2023 marked four years of the Scale Your Sales Podcast, celebrating the 200th episode. As we enter the New Year, we approach episode 222 of the top 10 sales Podcasts. ??

I was introduced to a new community, speaking at the Yachting Summit in Croatia. This reminds me that you do not know what you do not know, and there's always something new to learn. Keynoting at the Sales Innovation Expo and moderating the first Women in Sales Panel—this is a personal campaign of mine, and I'm thrilled to be part of the development.

The Unleashing Sales Excellence Workshop became a successful beacon in America, guiding CEOs and sales leaders through the evolving sales landscape. The resounding agreement among diverse business sectors? What worked before is no longer effective, and a new approach is imperative for sustainable revenue growth. This isn't just a workshop; it's a guiding testament to the adaptability needed in the rapidly changing world of sales. ??

2024 Sales Excellence Manifesto

As the calendar pages turn towards 2024, I find myself on a mission to prevent the recurrence of past mistakes and steer business leaders towards efficient sales operations. The emphasis is on placing the right people in the right seats, delivering unparalleled value for customer outcomes. It's not just a mission; it's a sales manifesto for navigating the complexities of B2B strategic sales in the coming year.

I completed my year by spending six weeks in America, workshopping and presenting these success strategies to business leaders, CEOs, and sales leaders. I built relationships, met with friends, and hosted a family Christmas while looking after my 88-year-old Dad.
