Happy New Year 2023!

Welcome to the first edition of CMR Nepal Journalism Academy's newsletter.

We will give you brief updates on our activities and training in this newsletter.

  • Call for Application for Mobile Journalism Course: We have published call for application to our first course - Mobile Journalism to be held in our signature 6+6+6 blended learning mode (6 days of attendance + 6 weeks of elearning + 6 days of attendance). This is a free course. More detail (also about our other courses) and applying information is here.
  • The Opening: On December 2, 2022, Dr. Thomas Prinz, the German Ambassador to Nepal, officially opened the Academy. Also present were our partner Interlink Academy's Director Werner Eggert, FNJ Secretary Pawan Acharya and CMR-Nepal's president Trishna Acharya. More.
  • Train the Trainers: With an aim of producing skilled trainers for our training courses, we organized a train the trainers course for 14 trainings from November 22 to December 3, 2022. Interlink Academy's trainer Erik Albrecht facilitated the training.

Meanwhile, CMR-Nepal has released four research reports as books which can be freely downloaded here. If you want hardcopies, please do visit the office at Anamnagar, Kathmandu.
