JOURNALISM

Journalism is the production and distribution of reports on current events based on facts and supported with proof or evidence. The word journalism applies to the occupation, as well as collaborative media who gather and publish information based on facts and supported with proof or evidence.

As time goes by, and as a true Baby Boomer, the ideals of being settled comfortably rocking the day away while looking at the world going by may appeal to many of my kind, but in most likelihood, those sporting the rocking chair are few and far in between from the reality of our species. It is in our DNA to always be on the lookout for great and exiting things to do, see and feel. ON THE ROAD WITH SILVER FOX, we hope for it to be one of those early styles of writing and experience sharing spots that will be recognized and accepted by all age groups, all ethnic backgrounds, shades of skin, sexual orientation, religious groups. We intend for it to be a graphic and thought creating experience that talks about everything good and bad in equally honest of style. Reporting has no boundaries as long as it is honest and truthful.

Our belief is that being a journalist makes of us, the eyes, ears and nose of the reader. It is not our responsibility to create opinion, but to create fresh thinking that allows for the reader to develop and churn feelings that develop into action. While it may sound like the trumpeting of conflict , nothing can be further from the truth. Once again, I believe in intelligent and coherent content that creates thought. Unlike today's so called reporters, our job is not to direct anyone to take action. While today's reporters make themselves the focal point of any story, ON THE ROAD WITH SILVER FOX will put the reader/viewer in the middle of the mix so that any solution and/or, opinion starts inside the gut of the end user. It is our aim to create and exchange of ideas that create results within. Today's reporting creates viewers too ready to let some unknown be the mind's guide. To live with the ideology created by self anointed opinion makers, self created influencers, personalities with a golden orange crate shouting their goodness without actual proof of facts. I don't care what others do or try to push. My interest is to be different and let the those that enjoy what we do to do the thinking for themselves.

As a true Boomer, we enjoy the idea of living large and free, and letting others have the same range of emotion - Get ready to rock the mind to endless proportions!
