Jourdan acquires almost all the lithium of La Corne

This map gives a good idea of the extent of the territory that Jourdan in whole or in part in the immediate vicinity of La Corne and the North American Lithium mine.
The lithium of La Corne seems definitely to arouse much interest.
The 1 st of May, Jourdan Resources has entered into a transaction adding 4.31 km 2 properties to those it already has in the area of the mine North American Lithium (formerly Quebec Lithium).
Eight days later, Mississauga, Ontario-based junior firm announced a major agreement with Alix Resources to acquire up to 75% of the interest held by the company on either side of Lake La Motte. The agreement covers an area of 629.2 km 2 , divided into four properties. As a result, the mining territory on which Jourdan exercises total or almost total control has increased tenfold.
A lot of potential
Alix Resources acquired its properties in June 2016 . Barely two months later, it had announced the discovery of four spodumene-bearing areas , an ore with a lot of lithium. The ore was discovered in a portion of the land adjacent to the North American Lithium mine that had not previously been explored.
Alix's properties also include the International Lithium project, more in the direction of Saint-Marc-de-Figuery. Exploration work carried out in the 1950s made it possible to delineate a mineralized zone of 12.4 km 2 . Historical resources were then estimated at 135,000 tons of ore at 0.95% lithium, but the deposit had not been mined.
Mining rights under the mill
In addition to the transaction with Alix, Jourdan took over four mining claims held by two prospectors. One of the claims includes the mining rights located just below the North American Lithium ore mill.
Several works to come
As a result of these transactions, Jourdan plans to drill about 1500 meters of drilling on various targets. Additional exploration work will be carried out on the claims obtained from the two prospectors as well as on the properties acquired at the beginning of the contract.
The company will also submit applications for permits to drill on the two properties it already held prior to the May transactions and which are deemed to contain lithium and molybdenum.
