Josh from Dominos
Hey Dominos,
Congratulations on delivering 4,000 pizzas to Siachen Glacier, #DominosInSiachen, quite cool. A lot of brands want to do something for our Armed Forces and especially around the two dates i.e. #RepublicDay & #IndependenceDay.
My uncle was a #Brigadier. He was posted in #Pune and all the outstation kids will land at his house, stay there, study, celebrate. I think #Army has a way of shaping men, I have never come across someone who is so stylish yet disciplined, a family man yet just a call away from serving the nation, our country. He died of cancer and I miss him, ‘lying on an army hospital bed he once told me, ‘if cancer is fighting with me, I am going to fight back!’. These men are cut from a different fabric.
We need to find ways by which common people can show their #Respect to the #ArmedForces using our business. May be if #Dominos can come up with an ALTERNATE PACKING for their pizzas, let’s call them, #JoshfromDominos. These will be priced higher than a regular pizza, how high, is a matter of discretion let’s say two brackets of additional 50 or 100 bucks, let people choose. People who want to contribute to the Armed Forces will go for the Josh from Dominos range. Make the packaging interesting, cut-outs, punches, pins etc, make it a collector’s edition and whatever money gets collected will go to benefitting the people of Armed Forces. This can be a yearlong activity, helping thousands if not lakhs people around the year.
