JOSEFINA, a New York City and Paris-based, high jewelry brand stands out as a diamond in the rough. Founded by Mexican Gemologist and High Jewelry Designer Josefina Baillères, the brand came to life very organically. What began with a couple friends seeking help with engagement rings quickly became an emerging business creating a myriad of bespoke pieces. Soon after, Josefina found herself with a logo, a very large demand for her designs and a new company. The brand has successfully built its bespoke business all while staying true to core identity. Josefina’s fascination for colored stones, diamonds, and what she calls ‘jewelgineering’ (jewelry design + engineering)? transfers over into each and every one of her designs.
