I’m proud to share the new release of my book, It's Not Yoga, It's You! by Locksley Hall Publishing. It’s written for readers in their 20s, as it’s the start of a spiritual story, a question of what happens when you follow something with complete commitment—beyond technique or knowledge.

My journey began in England in 1991, where yoga was barely on the radar. By 1992, I felt compelled to go to India, to the source of what I was sensing, and to see where the path would lead. This isn’t a guide to becoming a yoga expert but a story of a curious soul and aims to spark a dialogue—one that fuels the inner flame of truth, and to explore the realms of self-awareness.

Though yoga is now a multi-billion dollar industry, much of it lacks the depth that was present when I first encountered it. The UK has even registered yoga as a ‘Wellness Exercise,’ likening it to any other fitness regime. But yoga, at its essence, is a profound science—the science of the self. It’s a personal experiment, a practice of journeying inward and what that means.

This book recounts the beginning of my journey, when yoga was my only guide, that through its teachings, led me through countless challenges and unexpected adventures. Through the twists and turns, the experience connects to a deeper mystery and destiny, which is perhaps written, all along. ?

My hope is that it will inspire others to trust the journey, to find faith when life throws challenges, and to embrace the unseen mysteries that shape our lives.
