Brands and creators are constantly looking for that ‘perfect match.’ That balance of the brand allowing creative freedom for the talent, and the talent providing results (Return On Investment) for the brand—finding it is harder than it sounds.

NordVPN is a regular player in the game of YouTube integrations. They have worked with a variety of content creators, from tech reviewers and business experts to comedy and entertainment creators. The list goes on.

Back to the major point —> finding that perfect match between creators and brands.

It’s hard, but when you get it right, brands especially have to hold on to that partnership.

NordVPN’s partnership with Jolly is a great example, and for good reason.

They have always given a bit more...

In their integrations, both Josh and Ollie have always given that extra value in their ad integrations. The best example is their constant comedic NordVPN songs they’ve created on several occasions.

Are they a musical channel? NO

Is it unique as an integration? YES

Has it been effective when looking at their views? 100% YES

And it must be clearly working from a return on investment point of view as NordVPN has partnered with them again.

From the experience of talking to brands, it’s clear that effort is noticed, especially when there’s added value for the brand that ‘makes sense.’ For example, with one of our creators working with Scentbird, we have been creating comical slogans the brand could use. From that added value and positive feedback, we have seen Scentbird partner with that creator for six videos and counting...

This week is a great example of a brand sticking to a channel that works and provides value. One of the hardest things for a brand. What others can take from this is that partnerships do work when the right match is found.
