A JOKE I HEARD RECENTLY
A passenger gets into a cab and gives the driver directions. After a couple of minutes of listening to the cabbie's radio, he taps the cabbie on the shoulder to ask him a question. The driver screams, loses control of the cab, nearly hits a bus, jumps a curb and screeches to a stop inches from a large plate glass window.
For a moment, everything is silent. The driver, still shaking, turns around and says "I'm sorry, but you scared the living daylights out of me." The frightened passenger apologies and says he didn't realize that a tap on the shoulder would frighten him that much.
"No. no, I'm sorry. It's entirely my fault.", the driver replies. "Today is my first day driving a cab. For the last 25 years I have been driving a hearse.
Hope it brightens you day!
