Joint Research Center founded between Suzhou Frankenman company & Suzhou Institute of Biomedical Engineering and Technology Chinese Academy of Science

May 27th, Suzhou Frankenman Medical company signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Suzhou Institute of Biomedical Engineering and Technology Chinese Academy of Science to jointly build the “Frankenman Institute of Technology-Suzhou Institute of Medical Technology Joint Research Center” to develop ultrasound endoscopes and related technology. The centre will further assist Suzhou High-tech Zone to build a high-end medical device industry innovation cluster with global influence.

Tang Yuguo- Director of Suzhou Institute of Medical Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Weng Zhiqiang-Chairman of Frankman Group, and district leaders Lu Chao and Wu Xuxiang attended the ceremony.

Frankenman Institute of Technology-Suzhou Institute of Medical Technology Joint Research Center will focus on the combination of medical ultrasound technology and endoscopic equipment, relying on the technical reserves of the Chinese Academy of Sciences Suzhou Institute of Medical Technology in the field of medical acoustics technology together with Frankenman’s rich clinical and industrial resources.

With the advantages of strong strength and fast landing speed, the centre will closely focus on the “pain points” of clinical application, realize the integration of production, education and research, break through technology of multi-national companies, and build a Chinese innovative brand in the field of ultrasonic endoscopy.

Suzhou Institute of Biomedical Engineering and Technology Chinese Academy of Science is the first institute platform introduced by Suzhou High-tech Zone in 2008.
