Organised workflows are the backbone of any business and at Three Motion we really appreciate their benefits, especially in the Post Production department. Organisation is an absolute necessity, not an option.

We have worked hard at creating a unique workflow that enables us to:

1.Keep our partners informed of the production process

Knowing how we approach each project helps us and our partners to follow the process from beginning to end. We make sure they are informed and kept up to date with developments on a regular basis. This keeps the lines of communication open and enables us to address any concerns immediately. We really encourage our partners to feel part of our team.

2.Ensure our work stays at a consistent standard

Our entire team is fully aware of the production processes and work to the same disciplines, guaranteeing all agreed measures are implemented. This includes strict procedures; how a project is created within the software, correctly labelled folders, importing and exporting of assets to the correct locations, audio is balanced and the correct level, and the use of visual scopes for colour correction and legality. The real benefit of having such procedures in place ensures any operator is able to transfer to another machine and pick up from someone else without any confusion or issues. Everything is organised and efficient.

3.Saves time and money

Improving workflow processes has a strong impact on productivity. No time is lost on unnecessary issues and more can be done in less time. As a business we only ever charge for time, we’re completely transparent so it’s really important that we are efficient.

 With the change in working habits due to Covid, our unique system and workflow has made the transition seamless. At any given time there could be up to 10 or more team members working on a single project so organisation has proved to be essential.
