Joining Forces with Kiva
Worldwide, women lack access to the tools and resources they need for economic advancement. And when we invest in women, we positively impact families and communities throughout the world, spurring economic growth and improving health and education for all. That’s why at PepsiCo, we strive to create a more diverse, equitable, and inclusive society for our people, and this includes our commitment to empower women within the workplace and throughout the world. Since 2014, PepsiCo and Kiva have worked together to empower thousands of women entrepreneurs around the world and our recent #FuelHerFuture campaign secured $3.2 million in loans for over 17,000 women borrowers.
At PepsiCo, one of the many ways we are celebrating Women’s History Month is by inviting members of our network to lend to women entrepreneurs through Kiva’s powerful platform. As part of our effort, we’re offering $25 credit to support a woman entrepreneur of your choice. Your microloan can help a woman start her own business, go to school, and invest in her health, her future and in her family and community. Also, by contributing $25, you are lending alongside thousands of others, which is one of the most powerful and sustainable ways to create economic and social good.
