Joinera or how the virtual world improves the real life of your teams

Joinera was born during the first confinement in spring 2020, it was called Confer-O-Matic. At first it was just a bunch of friends who didn't want to see their MDev Camp event cancelled. So they created the first virtual world. And it was during this event that they met their first client. From that moment, many companies have asked us to help them create their virtual events.

But the pandemic was going to end. Everyone, and us first, we were looking forward to getting together physically to chat and have a drink. So what will virtual worlds be used for?
Based on the uses of our customers and ourselves, as a "remote first" company, we realized that what our solution brings is a deeper and more pleasant interaction than other options offered by video conferencing tools. We were using Unity as a development platform, but that no longer suited future needs. We therefore decided to switch to a solution based on web technologies and take the opportunity to change our name and become Joinera.
Joinera is there for teams working remotely, sometimes with people from all over the world, and to offer them a meeting space to recreate human interactions that companies are losing. Certainly, it can be used to organize meetings, workshops or conferences, but also to have a virtual space available at all times. The goal is also to meet and discuss or simply to get to know people who are not necessarily part of your team. It is these fortuitous encounters that we could have next to the coffee machine that we wish to recreate.
We still have a long way ahead of us and we are counting on our current and future customers to help us develop the most suitable tool for teams working remotely. The virtual world is not there to replace the real world, but to bring to this freedom allowed by digital a more social and certainly more human side. It may sound counter-intuitive, but that's how we design our solution.
This Thursday, April 28, 2022, we are launching our version 1.0. You will first hear from our clients, who have used our platform in the past and continue to do so even after the end of the health restrictions, to organize virtual and hybrid events for their employees and their candidates.
?? Meet Cinzia Gussoni, Head of InnoTech Strategy at Novartis, who pioneered our platform for new Employee Assessment Centers. Cinzia then continued to organize many events in this virtual world to facilitate meetings throughout the company.
?? Markéta Polková, Product Manager at Czechitas, who successfully uses our technology for virtual career fairs to connect IT professionals from the Czechitas community with global companies.
