The majority of Dry Eye Disease is caused or proceeded by Meibomian Gland Disease (Dysfunction). This course will cover the Diagnosis and treatment modalities associated with MGD. MGD is one of the most studied aspects of dry eye therefore understanding how to prevent MGD is of paramount importance in the future health of our patients Ocular surface. We will spend time on case presentations and cover the many different expression techniques and the equipment needed to treat this chronic progressive disease.
