What is the Low-Income Household Water Assistance Program (LIHWAP)?
Are you or someone you know struggling to pay water and sewer bills? A temporary emergency program has been launched to assist low-income families with bills in arrears for 30 days or more.
This program offers a grant for households that either rent or own their homes, with benefits based on the actual amount owed, up to a maximum of $4,000 per water or sewer provider or $8,000 if water and sewer services are combined.
