Panels & Sessions
We will kick off the day with our Opening Keynote Panel. Ravi Shankar, SVP & CMO, of Denodo will be moderating a discussion on “Enterprise Transformation: How to Futureproof against Technology Shifts and Disruptive Technologies?”. Joining the discussion we have Joshua Hamilton, Director Strategy & Digital Transformation with AB InBev, Satyajeet Sarangi, Director, IT Operations, Services and Support with Bayshore Healthcare, Gini Wong, Head of Information Technology with MUFG Bank Canada, Saurabh Dixit, Executive Vice President - Head of Real Assets Technology with The Citco Group Limited, and Arpita Bhowmick, Global Director Technology Strategy with Moderna. The only way for your business to stay ahead of the competition is to embark on continuous enterprise transformation. That means, given the digitally entwined business, enterprises need to embrace disruptive technologies and brace for technology shifts. But how can you insulate the business from such technology changes and keep the operations running without interruption? In this panel, veteran CIOs and CDOs will share their experience of what, and specifically what not, to do while adopting the latest technologies and yet keeping the business humming.?
Following that, Traceable AI will host a Fireside Chat on the topic, “Security Observability - Are you ready for the next Log4J?” Moderated by Dana Gardner, Director, Product Evangelist with Traceable AI. Joining the conversation is Sanjay Nagaraj, Co-Founder & CTO of Traceable AI. When Log4j emerged, many organizations were caught “flying blind”, hoping that they could protect their applications with their traditional perimeter defense. Modern applications are extremely hard to secure because, in the cloud, the apps are no longer behind a firewall, but rather connected to services potentially everywhere.? As a result, security at the gate is simply not enough, now we need visibility of what we have, how it is behaving, and how it is being used or abused.? We need visibility with the context of the application in order to protect the business from emerging threats like Log4J and others.
Snyk will then host a Fireside Chat on the topic, “Can we Really Trust our Developers to Handle Security?” Moderated by Steve Kinman, Field CISO with SNYK. Joining the conversation is Nicolas Buache, CISO of University of Ottawa, and Nilesh Shastri, Director Security & Compliance with Bayshore Healthcare. Traditionally, security teams were built to be reactive and only focus on production environments. In many cases, development environments were scoped out to make their compliance and audit lives easier. However, with the latest attacks being targeted toward developer environments security teams are having to rethink their approach.
Next, SnapLogic will host a Fireside Chat on "Achieving Digital Transformation Despite Labor-shortages of Technical Talent" with Michael Nixon, VP of Product Marketing of SnapLogic. Companies everywhere want the benefits of digital transformation, but not every company has the luxury of a software development team to achieve it. The competition to hire technical talent is fierce. So, what are companies that are not Google, Facebook, or Apple to do? Join us as we have an insightful conversion with Michael Nixon, VP, Product Marketing with SnapLogic, producers of intelligent data and applications integration and enterprise automation solutions. We will explore strategies that enable everyday companies to succeed with digital transformation and enterprise automation to accelerate and achieve business results.??
Closing out the day, Auth0, will host a Fireside Chat, on “The Journey to Loginless. First Step, Passwordless” moderated by Salman Ladha - Sr. Product Marketing Manager with Auth0. Joining this conversation will be Priya Mouli? ? ? ? Director, Cybersecurity and Privacy with PwC.? Identity sits at the intersection of convenience, privacy, and security. From improving customer experiences, to ensuring securing authentication flows that protect customer data - today’s login box must find the right balance between these three attributes. We believe that the companies that will succeed in the next five years will be the ones best-equipped to balance these three factors. One of the key changes on the horizon that will impact these factors, is the advent of loginless authentication. In the near future, traditional logins will no longer be the dominant form of access. Replacing today’s ubiquitous login boxes, with their user ID and password fields, will be user-centric systems that favor convenience (without sacrificing security or privacy) and that are built on trust. However, this journey to loginless can be fraught with complications, unknowns, and misconceptions.
?
Through these thought leadership sessions, panels and live chats we will bring to the forefront today's top successes, challenges and focus areas for CIOs, CISOs and other Divisional Leaders in the enterprise.?
