BEC Business Advice Tools Skills Support
Business Advice Worth Knowing
With the recent shutdowns, you could be forgiven for thinking where to from here. From when Covid first started in March 2020 we have all adopted, pivoted, learned new skills, cut costs, and marketed our goods and services in ways we thought we would never think of, and yet the challenge continues.
?With a sudden shutdown, we now all need to react again, but not all reactions need to be sudden, yes for hospitality the response is to go to take away only, reducing perishable orders and stock, that we can do, as we have in the past, but we also need to take time out to check on our own wellbeing as business owners, take time out for medium and long term planning and reaching out for help whether through a trusted friend or family member, business colleague, accountant or business advisor.
?If you have any doubts within your business, ask, you may not get all the answers you want, but you may come up with your own solutions by just talking your challenges out with someone else. Please don’t eliminate yourself from any government subsidies or grants by self-assessment, apply, call, and ask for help and guidance, there may be a way your application can be assessed to make it successful.
?There is light at the end of the tunnel, restrictions will reduce and stop, life will return, and when it does there will be opportunities to not only get on track but to grow, we just need to be ready.
?If you need to talk, we have business advisors throughout the Riverina Murray, please call, email Facebook Message and we will contact you.
Please stay tuned to our Facebook page to stay up-to-date.
Kind Regards,
David Yeates Regional Manager
