Just last week our Program Assistant Yadira Sánchez-Esparza published her first article in a series addressing human rights issues in Guatemala titled "Freedom of Press Is Hanging on by a Thread" it was also published in Spanish by Prensa Comunitaria as "En Guatemala, la libertad de prensa está bajo ataque".

Tomorrow the Guatemala Human Rights Commission will be hosting a webinar at 7pm EST via zoom to release their delegation video including interviews from the many human rights defenders they met with. Along with our Program Assistant the attendees will be able to ask questions to those who were on the ground.
