Join Us in the Fight Against Alzheimer's: Walk to End Alzheimer's 2024
Dear colleagues,
I write to you today with a heart full of hope and a mission that touches us all. On November 9th, 2024, at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia, we have an extraordinary opportunity to make a difference in the lives of millions affected by Alzheimer's disease. The Alzheimer's Association? 2024 Walk to End Alzheimer's is more than just an event; it's a powerful movement towards a world without Alzheimer's and all other dementia.
This cause is deeply personal to me. My mother, like so many others, faces the daily challenges of Alzheimer's with incredible strength and dignity. Her journey has opened my eyes to the urgent need for research, support, and care in this field. It's for her, and for every family touched by this devastating disease, that I ask for your support today.
Why Your Participation Matters
Every step we take, every dollar we raise, brings us closer to breakthrough treatments and, ultimately, a cure. The Alzheimer's Association leads the charge in global research and provides essential care and support for those affected. But they can't do it alone. They need us – all of us – to join this fight.
How You Can Help
I'm incredibly grateful to have the support of my sisters Elizabeth Watson, MS, OTR/L and Erica Batdorf , who will be walking with me in support of our mother.

A Call to Action
Imagine a world where no one has to hear the words, "You have Alzheimer's." A world where families don't have to watch their loved ones slowly slip away. This vision is within our reach, but only if we act now.
I urge you to join us. Whether you walk, donate, or help spread awareness, your contribution is invaluable. Together, we can create a future free from the shadow of Alzheimer's.
Let's make the 2024 Walk to End Alzheimer's the most impactful yet. For my mother, for your loved ones, for future generations – let's walk towards a brighter tomorrow.
With hope and gratitude,
Michael Weekley
