Join us in creating impact investing more accessible - Global Impact Investment Summit 2022 on 21-23rd July'2022 (Virtual)

Global Council for the Promotion of International Trade efforts to create an angel investor and venture capital ecosystem under the brand Global Alliance of Angel Investor and Venture Capital Networks (GAAIVCN), which will focus on increasing the demand or the supply for angel and VC funding. By creating a more hospitable environment in which entrepreneurs and venture investors operate, alliance will increase the demand for angel investor and venture capital. Increasing the supply can happen by improving the environment for limited partners who need to be confident that the “rules of the game” will remain roughly constant for the several year duration of their typical fund commitment. It can also occur in programs through which the government directly funds early stage projects. It is possible that examining exciting new technologies is more fun than tinkering with the tax rates on long-term capital gains. Even though venture capital as an asset class is small and relatively young, it plays several important roles that we should encourage.

Global Alliance of Angel Investor and Venture Capital Networks (GAAIVCN) & Global Council for the Promotion of International Trade (GCPIT) will be hosting "Global Impact Investment Summit 2022 (#GIIS2022)" on 21-23rd July 2022 (Virtually).

Perspective: Because of the complexity of social problems, we at Global Alliance of Angel Investor and Venture Capital Networks (GAAIVCN) feel that impact investors typically fail to investigate whether financial rewards are realistic. It's simply more expensive to deal with complicated challenges in the world's most difficult-to-serve communities. Why? Numerous factors contribute to this, such as inefficient supply chains, shaky infrastructure, unclear or counterproductive legislation and policies, and lower income and education levels among potential customers.. It takes more money, time, and support for entrepreneurs who take on the task of delivering products and services under these conditions to make a difference.

These entrepreneurs don't need more money, but they do need more impact investors ready to swap market rate returns for additional high-value social effect. Too many intractable problems remain unsolved and underfunded until this changes.

We at Global Alliance of Angel Investor and Venture Capital Networks (GAAIVCN) are committed to supporting early-stage entrepreneurs who are working to make a difference in the lives of people in underserved areas. Entrepreneurs must reshape markets to be more inclusive, and this frequently necessitates pioneering new business models and laying the groundwork for supporting infrastructure. The benefit is that the community and the market are both impacted, establishing a strong basis for ongoing development and extra impact to be made.

As a result, we evaluate the business models of entrepreneurs based on their potential financial gain in relation to their predicted direct influence on consumers' lives and livelihoods, as well as their capacity to bestow other benefits within the local economy. It is our hope that others will follow suit. To ensure that we are actually "doing well while doing good," we need to work together to advance impact investing to its next logical stage.
