Advertising is a 'Data Business'. Its a game that has been won by Facebook, Google ( & Amazon) - who've successfully collected, processed & monetized user data across their varied products & services. If you dont play this advertising game with 'relevant-data', you're bound to loose - which also explains why all other 'media conglomerates' ( Times, Star, Zee etc) fight for the crumbs in digital ad share (<10%), even after having enough eyeballs.

Given the existing data network effects, its pretty much impossible for incumbents to beat them at their own game.So how can one play this 'data' based advertising game differently ?

We'd like to try solving this for #d2c brands, with XPERT Ads . We see possibility in getting all brands, enablers, experts & media platforms together to recreate this 'data-driven' advertising ecosystem that delivers performance based results!

We're conducting this bold XPERIMENT, with insights from our 250+ d2c brand community, encouragement from our experts , experiences at building out releaseMyAd and the learning experiences we've gained at Stanford SEED & Wharton.

We're looking for 1-2 Entrepreneur In Residence (EiR) in Kolkata, some who can work with us to figure out building this successfully. In fact, if you ever dream of becoming an entrepreneur, this is the best role to understand what it takes.?

This will be a cross functional role, requiring you to work with our product, development & research teams. We will be seeking traits around high ownership, ability to operate with independence, astute problem solving skills but have the ability to make decisions in uncertainty and most critically, have high bias for action with a high speed of experimentation. We're open for ambitious, young, college grads that possess the same dreamy eyes with which they see the world differently & have the will to join in and influence the same.
