We are excited to announce our Conference on Artificial Intelligence for Bio-oriented Imaging Analysis (AIBIA), taking place at the Jaarbeurs on Wednesday, May 15, 2024. Hosted by the Utrecht Life Science Thematic Community Image Science, this event aims to bring together academic researchers passionate about Artificial Intelligence, imaging and life sciences. The primary objective of the AIBIA Conference is to foster collaboration and knowledge exchange within the vibrant Utrecht campus community.

• Keynote speakers: Gain valuable insights from experts like Clarisa Sánchez (University of Amsterdam) and Martin Weigert (University of Lausanne, EPFL) as they delve into the realms of medical imaging and microscopy, respectively.
• Parallel sessions: A total of 20 researchers from the Community Image Science present their latest results in AI for Medical and Biological imaging.

Life Sciences: AIBIA is proudly supported by Image Science, one of the six research communities under the strategic theme Life Sciences at Utrecht University. This interdisciplinary approach combines the expertise of Utrecht University's Faculty of Science, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, and Faculty of Medicine (UMC Utrecht) to drive impactful research in the field.
