Good afternoon,

For over 20 years, Quillsoft has been dedicated to enriching the lives of learners. Since joining forces with UK-based Nisai Group last year, we’ve become more aware than ever of:

• Persistent Absence – In England persistent absence, like in Canada is measured by those missing more than 10% of their timetable. The level of persistent absence in England is double that of what it was pre-pandemic
• Absenteeism has also more than doubled in many parts of Canada
• The correlation between attendance and attainment
• The impact of Covid on learning loss and knowledge regression
• The wider impact of reduced literacy levels, now across the wider curriculum and later in life when pupils have restricted opportunities to get in to the workplace
• The need to re-engage those learners who have dis-engaged from education
• The need to engage those learners with special education needs and provide complementary strategies to support them in achieving their personal and school goals

Nisai and Quillsoft bring over 100 cumulative years of education experience to the table. In our time, we have come to learn that the best way to help a learner is on an individual basis, as finding out their personal needs is crucial to providing the support they need. As such, we’d like your input.

As part of our relationship with Nisai, their Learning Services Director, David Lester, will be in Canada from the 12th?of April to the 9th?of May. During this time he would like to speak to you about the wider challenges that are being faced globally and in Canada and the opportunities for using innovative strategies to re-engage and progress learners.

We will be hosting a webinar on April 13th at 3:30pm EST where you will have the chance to meet with David and discuss the ways we can work together to help the learners of today and tomorrow.
