? Job: Workpack Preparator

?? Location: Iraq – Basra – Block9 oilfield

?? Positions Available: 1

?

?? JOB OBJECTIVE

·?Attend daily Notification review meetings and planning meetings.

·?Receive approved maintenance notifications, estimate required work, generate work orders and obtain proper authorization to release these orders.

·?Site verification of all equipment relevant to work pack and completion of work pack checklist by coordinating the compilation of all required checklist items.

·?Diagnoses the cause of the problem determines the scope of activity required to return the equipment back into service by packaging the work to the tasks, disciplines, materials and services to an effectively completion.?

·?Develop work packs by packaging the work to the tasks, disciplines, materials and services required to execute work efficiently.

·?Update the SAP (Computerized maintenance management system-CMMS) Work Orders to indicate activities, relationships, man-hours, rough estimated dates, materials and services.

·?Identify the spare parts as per the drawings and Bill of Martial (BOM) or Contact vendor to identify the spares.

·?Support maintenance team for creation of ?Purchase Request’s (PR).

·?Print out material pick list, collect materials from warehouse, bagging and tagging of all materials, then store in staging area in different locations depends on priority of work order.

·?Coordinate with maintenance planner and Discipline leads to prepare work packs for jobs which required multidiscipline activities like scaffolding, electrical, instruments, and crane activities.

·?Follow 60%20%20% rule in work preparation and use check lists to carryout site visit.

(60% Office and Field Preparation, 20% Tracking materials and services,20% Updating plans from feedback)

·?Reviews, plans and review all recurring PM (preventive maintenance) activities.

·?Assist in updating specific task lists for the maintenance plans within CMMS (Computerized maintenance management system-CMMS).

·?Obtain timely feedback from production unit for continuous improvement.?

·?Excellent Knowledge of verify and reads P&ID’s, engineering drawing and GAD (General Arrangement Drawing, O&M (operation, Engineering, maintenance manual)

·?Key decisions having significant impact on Production are referred to the Maintenance Section Head Block 9 for approval before implementation.

?? QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

Minimum Qualifications:

·?University education in material management or relevant.

·?Proven experience of material supervisory role in oil and gas industry

·?High School or 3 Years Diploma in Mechanical or other discipline

?

Minimum Experience:

·?The candidate should have a technical education in an engineering discipline with 10 years' experience in Oil / Gas / Petrochemical industry, covering maintenance work preparation activities and / or shutdown preparation.

·?It is unlikely that an individual’s core competency in multiple disciplines is sufficient to cover the required level of knowledge for each discipline. Therefore, the Maintenance Work Preparer roles will need to be discipline specific, i.e. multiple individuals with a core competency covering the mechanical, electrical or instrument discipline. As the person who determines the scope of the solution, this person is expected to be highly respected and competent in their discipline.

·?An experienced senior discipline technician with moderate hands on tool experience.

·?Knowledge of maintenance support services and its requirements.

·?Competent in the use of CMMS (SAP), materials ordering process, services ordering process, materials masters, information/drawing systems, building of job files.

Job-Specific Skills:

·?Candidate shall be experienced in SAP - CMMS environment in Plant Maintenance and Materials Management modules.

·?A working knowledge of the Primavera Planning / scheduling software is also essential for this position. The application of risk and reliability centered maintenance techniques, inspection and best practice maintenance execution would be advantageous.

·?Knowledge in Computer Software - MS Office.

·?Proven supervisory skills, fluency in both written and verbal English language, excellent in communication and presentation skills and a focus on continuous self-learning and improvement.

·?Need good relationship with work colleague between the discipline’s and different nationalities.
