Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and oversee editorial content for digital and print publications.
• Develop engaging content aligned with The Diplomatic Insight’s mission.
• Ensure timely updates on global events and breaking news.
• Manage WordPress content for accuracy and visual appeal.
• Create and execute a content calendar and strategy.
• Expand reach through social media and audience engagement.
• Use analytics to improve content performance.
• Stay updated on digital publishing trends and integrate new tools.
• Build partnerships and initiate projects to grow readership.
• Lead and grow a creative team of editors and writers.
• Contribute ideas to drive regional and global growth.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in International Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
• Proficiency in WordPress with basic knowledge of SEO.
• Experience managing social media platforms like LinkedIn, Twitter, and Instagram.
• Familiarity with analytics tools and content management systems.
• Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to publish polished news content.
• At least 2 years of experience in publishing, editing, or media-related roles.
• Solid understanding of international affairs and political issues.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team.
• Attention to detail and intellectual curiosity in content creation.
• Interest in diplomacy and a passion for fostering global dialogue.
• Skilled at synthesizing information from various sources.

Preferred Experience

• Candidates based in Islamabad with knowledge of SEO, WordPress, and a degree in International Relations.
• Growth mindset with a passion for diplomacy and innovation.
• Experience in publishing, editorial roles, or digital media.
• Strong understanding of international diplomacy and global affairs.
• Proven ability to lead teams and manage projects efficiently.
