Founded in 2016 by Emily Crocker, Stories offer bespoke catering for brands and?private clients across London and Surrey, as well as recipe development and styling in their purpose-built professional kitchen in the Surrey Hills.
Stories use food as a tool for storytelling. Be it a brand activation, a private dinner, or a collection of recipes for social content; they strive to tell your stories through their love of seasonal cooking and thoughtful hosting.
The Stories team is endlessly curious about people and places, always searching for the provenance and purpose that exists in the everyday. And what better medium for storytelling than through the medium of food? The simple act of sharing a meal transcends all the things that make humans different. It's a way of showing love, an opportunity to spark conversation, learn, grow, connect.
Emily was classically-trained at Leith's School of Food and Wine following a career change from journalism, where she first discovered her love of telling the stories of others.

FACING CHALLENGE:Two of the founders in our community shared some of the challenges they have faced and how they overcame them...
Isobel Ridley, Founder of Lavender Hill Clothing
"We care about being a sustainable and ethical brand. A year travelling opened Isobel’s eyes to the negative impact of what we throw away. So when she started her business, after honing her skills at Burberry London, taking a sustainable and ethical approach was the only option. We consider every part of the manufacturing journey; we’re passionate about traceability, how we source and manufacture is fundamental.”
Lisa Franklin, Founder of Lisa Franklin London
“As a child, I was fascinated with Rose Quartz, and I have always been a Rosacea sufferer, so I know first-hand how it feels to be uncomfortable and unconfident in your own skin. Fast forward 20 years, I was working as a makeup artist and had a model with troubled skin. I then had my lightbulb moment – I was going to create a product that worked for problem skin, a hybrid between makeup and skincare. I wanted to create a product that worked, that was backed by science, and ultimately delivered results. It was during the extensive research that I discovered, the benefits of Rose Quartz. All these years later, I realised that the stone that spoke to me as a child would be my secret to success and the key to creating a unique skincare brand, unlike anything that was available.”
