Join our microwave link planning and installation training courses at LS of South Africa's Training Academy!

Microwave links are required to perform as the backhaul of the network of all the mobile technologies today, with an ever-increasing demand for capacity. If designed appropriately, these links are able to meet and exceed performance expectations with effortless ease. Our training course offers trainees a wealth of knowledge around the planning, installation and configuration of digital microwave point to point links. Topics covered include wave propagation, antennas, frequency planning and assignment, interference analysis and mitigation techniques, etc.

We are very excited to announce that we have now expanded our course offering to include practical installation of microwave links. Trainees, as can be seen in the pictures (as attached), get to perform an actual installation of a microwave link for which they have done the planning.

As part our offered training, trainees are also safely guided by our certified climbing/fall arrest technician to be able to demonstrate installations working at heights. The training course is presented at our facility in Ruimsig, Roodepoort (easily accessible from the Krugersdorp highway (N14) and Hendrik Potgieter (M47) Rd respectively).
