Join the movement for change in elderly care

There are an awful lot of people on LinkedIn who have elderly parents. Some are fit and healthy, others are in need of care, to a greater or lesser degree. Those with parents in the second group will know exactly what I am talking about; everyone else, please just read on...

Elder care in the UK is a complex and creaking ecosystem and, to be blunt, it doesn't work particularly well anymore. The multiple pressures of budget cuts and an ever growing ageing population have led to the current state of play.

The thing about getting old is that it happens to us all, so we should all care about how care is organised and delivered.

As one of the founders of Consentricare I have spent the past two years working to make a difference with CareHound, and along the way I have met some very smart, very committed, very compassionate people who all hold a similar view:

It doesn't have to be like this.

Many of us are working already in our own ways to a common goal - transforming the way that elder care is organised and delivered in the UK. But there are many more of you who could also get involved to share your skills and creativity to make life better for elderly people and for those who organise their care.

People like you can help to make a difference.

If you want to be a part of the change, click on this link and join the LinkedIn group I have set up for the purpose.

Thank you.
