I am joining hundreds of thousands of people across the country who are walking in the?Out of the Darkness Community Walks?to prevent suicide and support AFSP's mission to?save lives and bring hope to those affected by suicide. ?On November 3, 2024, I will be joining my friend Denise Cunningham and TEAM Cunningham at Atlanta’s Piedmont Park.?? If you are in Atlanta, you are welcome to join our team or support us with a donation.
Why do I walk?? I have lost neighbors, relatives and friends to suicide.? This year I walk in honor of my friend, Katrina Daffoo. She was a gifted instructor, had a wicked sense of humor and the best laugh that I can still hear today. We never know what someone else is truly thinking or feeling. By walking I hope to raise awareness and start conversations that may have never happened. Everyone matters!
