Dear Friends, Colleagues, & Supporters:

Meet John, a brave Veteran who served our country with honor. After returning home, John faced unimaginable challenges, ultimately finding himself living on the streets. His story is all too common among our heroes who’ve sacrificed so much.

Veteran homelessness increased by 7.4% in 2023.

But there’s hope. Homes For Our Troops steps in to change lives. They build specially adapted homes that provide independence and stability for severely injured Veterans like John. These homes aren’t just shelters; they’re life-changing foundations for a brighter future.

I'm excited to share that I will be running the Houston Chevron 2025 Marathon, but this race is about much more than personal achievement. This year, I am dedicating my run to an extraordinary cause: Homes for Our Troops. This incredible organization builds and donates specially adapted custom homes nationwide for severely injured post-9/11 Veterans, enabling them to rebuild their lives.

Every step I take on the marathon course will be driven by the determination to help our heroes regain their independence and improve their quality of life. These brave men and women have sacrificed so much for our freedom, and now it's our turn to give back.

How You Can Help

Your generous donation can make a profound impact:

• $50 can help provide vital home modifications, such as widened doorways and accessible bathrooms.
• $100 can contribute to the construction of wheelchair ramps and adaptive technologies.
• $500 can support the installation of critical home features that allow Veterans to live more independently.
