ENOUGH TALK! It's time for ACTION! Let’s get military spouses hired in 2021!

Each Wednesday, I'll make ONE 'Introductory' post for a military spouse (active, reserve, retired, or veteran) on my personal LinkedIn page (over 31K Connections; 10% are Recruiters!).

NOTE: This post guarantees exposure leading to connections (you turn them into relationships) which may lead to meaningful employment opportunities.

"WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS?"

Military spouses selflessly sacrifice so much for their families, service members, and our Nation--they're also 24% unemployed (6X higher than pre-COVID unemployment rates)!

This is me simply showing appreciation and providing a some exposure.

"HOW CAN I BE HIGHLIGHTED?"

Great question! Follow the simple steps below (with some tips) and I may text you for a brief conversation.

If you’re a military spouse (active, reserve, or veteran) and you'd like to be highlighted, submit the following to [email protected]!

NOTE: Do to the potential response, if the requested information is not provided, or not provided accurately, I will not be able to spotlight you. This is a time-consuming effort.

7 BASIC STEPS

1 - LinkedIn URL (Personalize your URL (remove the default numbers/letters) before submitting - See visuals below)

2 - What military service/component (ex: Army/active) is your spouse? (Used to 'mention' (or tag) the service for additional exposure.)

3 - What companies (3 to 5) are you looking to target? You'll need to do some RESEARCH! Consider ALL company sizes, not just larger Fortune 100 or 500 companies. ("Any Company" is not a company...)

4 - What SPECIFIC non-federal role are you’re looking for and level, e.g., entry level, associate, mid-level, senior-level, director, executive? Check out the companies 'Careers' page for available jobs--this will take some RESEARCH.

5 - Where would you'd like to work (city/state)? Submit up to three locations--one is required. (I can add #Remote or #WFH, but shouldn't be primary location)

6 - Availability date (must be currently searching/available)

7 - Must be willing/able to engage LinkedIn posts. This includes reacting ('liking') and responding to all comments and connecting with people 'mentioned' (tagged) in the post and those commenting.
