Shopify Scripts Deprecation
As you might've already heard Shopify Scripts are being completely removed on August 28, 2025.
Read carefully, it says 2025. Which leaves you with a lot of room to make changes.
Shopify Functions are set to replace Shopify Scripts, and as a consequence, support for Shopify Scripts will be discontinued after August 28, 2025. So if you're currently using Shopify Scripts, you'll need to transition to apps that utilize Shopify Functions by that date.
Functions already enable merchants to create unique discounts, payment options, and shipping methods. These are implemented through apps and can be managed within the Shopify Admin without the need for coding, allowing for seamless integration and customization.
It's important to highlight that Functions and Scripts can be used at the same time. If something's missing on Functions, keep using Scripts until Shopify updates Functions APIs.
Checkout Customization Service Removed for Shopify Plus
Starting from August 13, 2024, Shopify's gonna pull the plug on one of the services that lets Shopify Plus stores customize their Checkout Pages. This means that these options are no longer available:

Even though we always have to search for hidden agendas behind claims like this, this seems like a very insightful research.
