?Remarketing to your previous buyers

Remarketing is like giving your customers a friendly reminder about your products or services after they've interacted with your business.?

Imagine someone browses your online store but leaves without making a purchase. With remarketing, you can show them targeted ads on other websites or social media platforms, nudging them to come back and complete their purchase.

But everybody knows this already. What's often overlooked is using remarketing to re-engage people who have already purchased products from you.

Most businesses rely heavily on emails to keep in touch and drive further engagement. That's all fine considering how cheap email is.?

But let's say your open rate is 30% (which doesn't mean they actually read the email). That means that 70% of your audience has no idea what you want to tell them.?

So do your best to reach those people as well. That's why you need to use retargeting ads to offer discounts, remind them of their previous purchase with you or offer something exciting.?

Use Instagram , Facebook , X , LinkedIn , 谷歌 - wherever your audience is and start retargeting.

Try to personalize the ad as much as possible. If they spent a lot of time browsing a specific product - create an ad with a discount for that particular product.


Marketing on TikTok

TikTok's new marketing guide is a must-read for anyone not already using the platform.

According to the guide, 92% of users globally take action after watching a TikTok video, making it a powerful tool for driving engagement and conversions.?

The guide covers the campaign setup process and it's straightforward, with tools for targeting specific audiences, tracking performance with real-time data, and managing budgets effectively.

TikTok also provides various resources and insights to help you understand your audience better and optimize their campaigns.

Who knows what will happen with TikTok in the US, but for now it seems like a safe bet when it comes to marketing.

Shopify 's Checkout Extensibility

In February 2023, Shopify announced the deprecation of checkout.liquid and the transition to Checkout Extensibility. This new foundation aims to enhance security, performance, upgrade safety, and customization through apps.

Continuing to use the outdated checkout.liquid code beyond the specified deadlines poses risks that could negatively impact businesses.

The required upgrade timeline is as follows:

  • By August 13, 2024, businesses must upgrade their Information, Shipping, and Payment pages.
  • By August 28, 2025, businesses must upgrade their Thank You and Order Status pages, including any apps using script tags and additional scripts.
