We can't do it alone! We need active members who can support these events, take on leadership roles, and use their military experience and business acumen to help us take our Post to new heights of support for the military community.

Aside from the ability to join a National network of Veterans who assist with VA benefits, lobby for Veterans Legislative affairs and assist military families everywhere, the Richfield AMVETS post also sponsors an annual college scholarship, an annual turkey shoot, supports annual Memorial Day parades in Richfield, and Bath Township, and partners with our Sons of AMVETS and our Auxiliary to put on cook outs and community days and we have donated THOUSANDS to the Richfield Senior Citizens Center. We also conduct the Annual Gunny Gilbert Memorial Poker Run which supports the transportation of family members to military and VA hospitals when their loved ones are injured in the line of duty, and the Summit County Stand Down for Homeless Veterans.
