Chris graduated from Southampton Solent University in the UK with an engineering degree in naval architecture. He was involved in the repair, re-fit and refuel of Trafalgar-Class nuclear powered submarines; worked as a naval architect for a commercial Superyacht construction division; reported on vessel, dock and marine terminal damage, P&I, H&M and C&V surveys, cargo claims surveys, marine warranty assignments, and provided naval architecture support to various worldwide marine salvage operations.
