John’s Crazy Socks has introduced a line of fun and comfortable face masks. True to their mission, not only do these masks look good and spread happiness, but they give back too. John’s Crazy Socks donates 10 percent from the sales of these masks to Covid-19 Relief Funds supporting frontline healthcare workers.
“I love theses masks,” says Co-Founder and Chief Happiness officer John Cronin. “They are soooo comfortable and they look so good.”
The John’s Crazy Socks Mask Collection has five beautiful masks:
- Grateful
- We are Stronger Together
- Love
- Smile
- American Flag
Customer Diane E wrote, “I love this mask. Comfortable to wear and not only is there a smile on the mask but I wear one underneath as well!”
Customer Mary C. gave the mask five stars, saying, “It’s great! It fits and is very comfortable. I was hesitant at first about wearing a mask, but it is breathable and I hardly know it’s there.”
Rachel E. works in a school and will need to wear a mask every day. She wrote, “This mask is so comfortable! I love that it has a nose clip which helps keep my glasses from fogging up. The easily adjustable and comfortable ear loops are a nice touch too. Of course, the best part is its great message of loving everyone, no matter who they are. It really puts a smile on my masked face!”
Giving back is an essential part of the mission at John’s Crazy Socks so the Company will donate 10 percent of the sale of these masks to the American Nurses Foundation’s Coronavirus Response Fund and the Covid-19 Relief Fund at Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in John’s home, Long Island.
Why sell masks? John’s Dad and co-founder Mark X. Cronin said, “We kept hearing from customers who wanted masks. We looked into our options and saw that these masks could meet our three criteria: They had to be fun. They had to spread happiness. And John had to be excited by them. John did a great job picking out these masks.”
Mark went on to say, “These have to be great masks because we wear them every day. As part of our safety plan to take care of the health of all our colleagues, everyone in our building wears a mask, we practice social distancing and we are fanatical about washing hands and keeping surfaces wiped clean. Most of our colleagues have a differing ability and so we have an even greater obligation to make sure they are safe.”
The face masks from John’s Crazy socks are only available online at the company’s website. John’s Crazy Socks does same day shipping, so customers receive their masks quickly. And every package contains a thank you note from John and candy.
About John’s Crazy Socks
John’s Crazy Socks was inspired by John Lee Cronin, a young man with Down syndrome, and his love of colorful and fun socks—what he calls his “crazy socks.” He and his father, Mark X. Cronin, started the company as a social enterprise built on four pillars:
● Inspiration and Hope: We hire people with differing abilities, share videos to show what people can do, host school tours and school groups that come for work experience. We want the world to see what people with differing abilities can do.
● Giving Back: We donate 5 percent of our earnings to the Special Olympics and raise money through our Sock of the Month Club and charity and awareness socks for our charity partners like Autism Speaks, the Autism Society of America, the National Down Syndrome Society, and the Williams Syndrome Association. We have raised more than $350,000 for our charity partners and publish a monthly Giving Back Report.
● Socks You Can Love: We have over 2,000 different socks plus a Sock of the Month Club, gift boxes and gift bags. And our selection is matched by our customer service: Most customers receive their socks within two days of ordering.
● Making It Personal: Every package gets a thank-you note from John and some candy.
