Los Angeles County Q2 Market Update

Q2 2024 saw a sudden market change for residential properties in LA County. While days on market fell an average of 8% with prices increased 9%, there was a huge increase in new listings and number of properties for sale, meaning that properties are staying longer on the market than expected. Price reductions are becoming common with listings that stay longer than 2+ weeks with no offers, low open house attendance and low number of showings. In Q1 2024, days on market averaged 43 days, while number of properties for sale was 16%, so it jumped 27% since then!

For buyers, this presents many opportunities. You will not have to compete with as many buyers on listings, have more properties to view, negotiate the price and terms on an offer, and have more negotiating power during escrow. This is crucial, especially if you're a first-time homebuyer. Since we are in an election year, we are expecting a bit of a slow down in the market. I will continue monitoring the market day by day.

New Branding

I recently debuted my new logo and couldn't be happier with the team who designed it for me. The keys represent the keys to success, keys to new opportunities and keys to your new home. The wave represents Los Angeles, since we are by the ocean. The palm tree represents the desert, where I grew up in. Finally, the four squares have an enigmatic meaning that's open to interpretation.
