JOHN WRIGHT NAMED PRESIDENT OF MCDONALD SANDERS LAW FIRM

Fort Worth, TX, March 30, 2023 – John Wright has been elected as the new President at McDonald Sanders Law Firm. Wright, who has been with the firm since 1988, focuses his practice in business organizations and commercial transactions, real estate, probate, estate and trust, and related litigation.

McDonald Sanders, as it is known today, was founded in 1951, by Atwood McDonald, Earnest Sanders, Marcus Ginsburg, Olcott Phillips and Robert Maddox. In 1990, the firm reorganized as a professional corporation and Rick Sorenson was elected the firm’s first President. He remained in that leadership role until John was elected in December of 2022.

Currently, the firm’s 13 shareholders and directors are Rick Sorenson, Kevin Kuenzli, Robert Ginsburg, Rory Divin, George Haratsis, John Wright, Nick Bettinger, Richard DeBerry, Jennifer Littman, Russell Devenport, Donald Kaczkowski, Ryan Damiano, and Grant Sorenson.

Nick Bettinger, a past Tarrant County Bar Association President and director, who has worked with John for many years, said, "John has been my friend and colleague for over 30 years, and I know he is invaluable to our organization."

John and his wife, Diane, enjoy playing golf at Colonial Country Club when he’s not at the firm’s downtown Fort Worth location. John also served for five years as the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of The Hill School of Fort Worth, and served many years on the Board of Directors of A Wish With Wings, both organizations being very special to John and Diane.
