John Pye & Sons Ltd have been appointed by the joint administrators of Moore Large & Co. Limited to act as agents for the sale of stock and assets.
Moore Large & Co. Limited, which is one of the largest suppliers and distributors of bicycles in the UK, appointed administrators from FRP Advisory on Monday 13th March.
This week, joint administrators Raj Mittal and Nathan Jones have appointed John Pye Auctions to put stock and assets up for sale. Items include approximately 35,000 bikes with an RRP of around £25 million. Additionally, £10 million worth of bike accessories will go into our weekly auctions from Friday 24th March.
The huge range of stock includes some of the biggest cycling brands such as Forme, Barracuda, Bikerton and Cuda. Stock will be distributed across our auction sites including Nottingham, Chesterfield, Port Talbot and Derby with nationwide delivery available on all stock.
Due to our extensive experience as an efficient sales avenue for administrators, our team can easily adapt to specific job requirements and provide a flexible service for clients. From stock collection to end-consumer sale within any range of discretion, we can always provide a solution.
At the beginning of this year, our team worked with PwC, administrators of MADE.COM Design Limited to handle the sale of the entirety of its UK stock holding. This resulted in John Pye Auctions selling off a range of furniture and homewares, valued at over £30 million.
