John Kemp Starley
John Kemp Starley?was born on?December 25, 1855?in?London, England?and died on?October 29, 1901?at the age of?46?in?Coventry, England.
John kemp?is known as an inventor and an industrialist, but the real reason for?John's fame is to contribute to the development of state-of-the-art bicycles, commonly known as rover safety bicycles.
Due to the family's poor financial situation before and after the birth of the Kemp,?John?received her education at home and began her career in early?1872, moving to?Coventry, London,?And assisted his Uncle?James Starley?in the manufacture of aerial bicycles for the next seven years.
Later, in?1877, he started a business under the name of?Starley & Sutton Company?in association with?William Sutton.
The special feature of these bicycles manufactured by this company was that they were considered to be the safest in terms of travel among all the bicycles manufactured earlier and for a number of reasons, these bicycles came to be known as a brand called?Rover.
