?? Employee Spotlight: Meet John Haehnel ??

From a young age, John was immersed in the world of tree care, learning the ropes from his father and uncle. After high school, he took a bold step and joined the Marine Corps, serving from 1990-1995. During his service, John gained invaluable leadership experience, particularly as an Instructor—skills that have greatly influenced his career.

In February 1996, John joined Tree Tech as a groundman/tree climber. Over the past 28 years, he has worked in every aspect of the industry. His journey has seen him become a licensed bucket, equipment, and crane operator, work in utility line clearance, and rise to the position of Director of Safety & Training.

With the acquisition of Tree Tech by Tree Care Partners, John embraced a new role as the Corporate Director of Safety and Training. In this capacity, he has proudly supported multiple companies nationwide.

John has built a strong relationship with the Tree Care Industry Association (TCIA), earning his Certified Treecare Safety Professional (CTSP) designation in 2006 and becoming a TCIA Certified Trainer in 2023. Additionally, he has been a licensed ISA Arborist since 2019.

His dedication and expertise have made him an invaluable asset to our team and the entire tree care industry. ??
