Adam Bouloukos, Deputy Humanitarian Coordinator, Ethiopia, seeing off John Ging, Director of the Operational Division, UNOCHA . Here, Mr. Ging is joined by Anwar Ali Abdow, Humanitarian Advisor to the Regional President and Hussein Hassan, Head of the Disaster Prevention and Preparedness Bureau and OCHA staff from Addis and New York. During his visit, Mr. Ging met with Regional Vice-President Suad Ahmed, members of the Somali State Crisis Management Team, and UN and NGO humanitarian partners to discuss the ongoing humanitarian needs in the region, with particular attention to those displaced by drought and conflict.
