No, LSU didn’t play its best game, but it was good enough against perhaps the best defense it will face all season. Joe Burrow finished 32-of-42 for 321 yards and one touchdown, and running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire finished with 26 carries for 136 yards and one touchdown.

It’s hard to go undefeated in any conference, especially the SEC, and the Tigers have managed to do just that thus far.??

Currently, LSU is ranked No. 2 in the Associated Press’ Top 25, but with its win over Auburn, LSU has now beaten three top 10 teams (at the time of playing them); Texas and Florida are the other two.??

Ohio State jumped LSU for the No. 1 spot. Meanwhile, Utah is up to No. 6 and takes over the spot previously occupied by Oregon. Oklahoma moved up from No. 9 to No. 7.

The rest of the top seven was the same as last week. Clemson is still No. 3. Georgia is still No. 4.

Auburn is ranked 15th, so it will be a top-15 matchup when the Tide and the Tigers play this weekend.

That’s not what anyone wants to hear right now with the latest “Game of the Century” between Alabama and LSU already in overhype mode and still two Saturdays away. Like everyone else,Joe Burrow. kicking Alabama’s injured star quarterback Ass might be the decision, though.
