Job Titles
Job titles used to be a standard way to explain what role you’re in. Now, with an increase in uniqueness and creativity, there’s no limit to what title you might be given. People can argue that they prefer the traditional approach or visa versa, but regardless, we’re here to tell you what the deal is:

8 年Relevant post Sarah. The titles are indicative and not exhaustive of the scope involved. Ultimately it boils down to the value add, irrespective of title. We also need to bear in mind that the internal organizational structure/band & grade varies with each company/sector, so it is not always an apple to apple scenario. The authority-responsibility matrix is to be bench-marked, not designation per se. As Khalid rightly said, one needs to do justice to the title.

8 年I agree, most of us do a lot more then what's their titles says, as long as you're taking care of salary wise, nothing wrong with that.
