Shirdi Sai Electricals Limited (SSEL) is a leading Indian Conglomerate (Manufacturing B2B) in Transformer manufacturing, headquartered in Hyderabad. Having qualified in PLI incentive scheme through Government of India and keenly materializing to set-up 10GW Integrated PV manufacturing for the entire value chain (Polysilicon to Module), they have come up with a special project vehicle, named, INDOSOL Solar Pvt. Ltd. for the renewable manufacturing space.

Job Purpose

This position will be responsible for all aspects to be part of the maintenance team of Module plant, which will be part of the Integrated PV Plant. He needs to coordinate with Licensor/ supplier/ Consultant/ Engineering team / Equipment Vendor / Raw materials vendor and lead the complete maintenance for timely completion of the projects, installation, commissioning, ramp-up, trial production and high volume production.

Job Description

• To coordinate with all Maintenance activities for module manufacturing at INDOSOL with a focus on cost reduction and optimial utilization of Machines.
• Managing the entire module manufacturing equipment’s (Automation, stringer, bussing, laminator, curing, JB, Framing and flasher) along with Module utilities (HVAC, Electrical, CDA, PCW, Chillers, etc) from Pilot line to high volume module manufacturing lines for running the operations 24*7*365 days.
• Leading a large size team of technical resources including operators & engineers for smooth functioning of maintenance activities in all shifts for 365 days of operation.
• Planning and monitoring breakdown, preventive, corrective and predictive maintenance of Plant & utility Equipment. Experience in RCA & CAPA is mandatory
• Reviewing and following through the maintenance Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE) targets.
• Experience & participating in FAT & SAT qualifications
• Adhering to strict EHS policies (PTW, LOTO, Incident reporting & corrective actions etc)
• Experience in handling manpower, shop floor management, Kaizen, Kanban, DMAIC methodologies, lean manufacturing, optimized raw materials usage with cost efficient methodologies, Spare management, structured way of productivity improvement through training will be part of your KPI/KRA
• Enhancing life cycle of equipment by analysis of critical spare parts and replacing/ refurbishing high-cost spare parts, Indigenization of spares locally, drafting equipment obsolesce study and proposing upgradation & replenishment plans within suitable budget to the management.
• Schedule, extend and implement Preventive Maintenance (PM) Planning & Execution diligently
• Overall budgeting & to optimize spare parts inventory for cost reduction
• Identify and implement error proofing methods on repetitive equipment issues (Poke-Yoke)
• Provide training to the engineers, operators and entire maintenance team
• Drive and lead BKM, improve MTTR and optimize MTBF to bring down unplanned downtime to lowest possible
