Job Seekers Roadmap - NFL Draft next level Corporate Version....

It was hard to correlate real world to the reality of the NFL draft this weekend or any draft really.? If you think about it, these incredible athletes, much like you professionals on LinkedIn, have prepared and are ready for the next step in their career.? Hmmmm, sound familiar?? While I am spotted with a Bow Tie at times, I am not the mainstream “do it a certain way kind of guy” as seen by the variety of pants that make up what is a Salvador Dali or maybe John Daly genre of fashion.?

I am however a change agent that has 30 years of creation of models that serve the customer which is my passion.? With that I say this and laugh, say I am crazy which I kind of like, or discount me as an out of touch sci-fi whacko…. As I watched the draft I had almost a dream sequence moment (like Wayne’s World or Movies in general) where I imagined the big stage much like the NFL draft where my Roger Goddel said, and with the first pick in the CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE draft “X” company take Richard Trayner!!!!? Thinking from a Seeker perspective with many out of jobs for well over a year, any round in the draft is a WIN!!!

A corporate draft of sorts that collected the roles and indexed them and had a DRAFT in my mind is GENIOUS!? My dream would, which is once again in my mind, would be for my hometown Jaguars to select me in whatever round. I would work on Customer Experience to put butts in seats which is what my advisory is currently excelling at……. or HEY, I will build a Vintage Beach Window for every Jaguar and when a player is drafted one of the perks other than that million-dollar gig would be receiving a WINDOW custom made for them!!

OK, waking up now but a draft board is not so far-fetched in my mind if you look at it from a recruiting perspective and the excitement would BE AWESOME!!!? If someone does this think of me and I will build your family a custom window and if you need consulting give me a ring, email, text, DM, whatever!
