Job Title - Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor (depending on level)

Company - SME Medium sized contractor

Located - West Cheshire

Based - In the office / on site

Projects - Civil Engineering, Concrete Works, RC Frame, Drainage, Utilities, Bridges, Footpaths, Fit outs, Infrastructure

Company: A medium sized engineering contractor who specialise in concrete works and frames.

Duties:

• Procurement of materials, plant and labour
• Applications of payment
• Managing subcontractors / labour
• Raising early warnings and managing CE's
• Measuring and pricing variations
• Managing change
• Day to day management of QS's
• Completing monthly CVR's
• Getting involved with client liaison

The candidate

It is essential that you have a background in engineering contracts and strong negotiation and communication skills

All applicants must be able to work well under pressure / to tight deadlines and you should have an excellent understanding of NEC3 / NEC4 forms of contract

In depth knowledge or different kinds of civil engineering projects

Salary

￡55,000 - ￡75,000 depending on level and experience
