Have you ever encountered a job posting that felt more like a novel than a job description?
I recently came across one for a Senior Civil Designer position. After skimming through a few lines, I realized it was a lengthy post. When I pasted it into Microsoft Word, it spanned a whopping eight pages! This was significantly longer than most candidate resumes. It's worth noting that a Senior Civil Designer's primary responsibilities typically involve preparing drawings, 3D models, and coordinating with other disciplines. I couldn't help but wonder if this excessive job posting was merely a way for company to show off their hiring activity, or if they were genuinely seeking qualified candidates."
I have copied the job posting below, substituting XYZ for the company name.
