Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is currently seeking to fill a Transportation Technician 3 In-Training position in our North Central Region. This position will maintain the Region's sign log which is an important asset to the department both operationally and as a record documenting signing maintenance and construction. This position will monitor, provide customer service at the region level for the Motorist Information Signs (MIS) program and helps highway users find important services. It will assist the Traffic Operations Engineer in responding to citizen inquiries and in developing low cost solutions to address safety and operational concerns. This work allows the department to quickly address citizen concerns and supports safe travel on Washington State highways.
