The Southwest Region Traffic Management Center (TMC) is seeking?two?Transportation Technicians to perform advanced traffic management activities and analysis. These positions will analyze real time data from Next Generation Traffic Management Software (NG TMS), SENSE video server, WSP Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD), and WSP operations staff and field crews at the scene of an incident to design and implement time sensitive response plans, while directing others to implement the response plan using tools listed above. The decisions made by these positions affect the safety and the flow of traffic on the freeway and the adjacent arterial systems. Our top candidates will possess a high level of independent judgement and decision making.
